Mark your calendars and watch your mail for an invitation to join other DES Members on our 2nd DES Road Trip!
If you have never been in a "Butterfly House" you will certainly enjoy the excitement of beautiful butterflies all around, some even landing on your shoulder. Get up close to more than 75 species of exotic butterflies and stunning
bird species from the Southern hemisphere in a 2,700 square-foot
greenhouse filled with pools of water, flowers, tropical trees and 1,000
butterflies, including those never-before-seen in our region. And, of course, there is much more to enjoy in the museum.
Already plan to attend? Just contact Alice Farrell in the Office of Mission and Values. For additional
information on the Peggy Notebaert Museum go to www.naturemuseum.org
Hope you can join us on this great day trip. Phil Kemp, thanks for suggesting and helping with the organizing.
